K&M 14940 tuba
stand
 |
If you're tired of putting your tuba down
on the floor on its bell, this little stand is the ticket. I find it
to be especially useful when I'm doubling in an orchestra pit and
have to make fast horn changes without leaning over or clanking
around too much. It's also nice at home, so I can stand up a horn
anywhere without having to worry about leaning it against the wall,
or risk having it fall over. Very stable, folds for travel. New
rubber pads are more durable than the old felt pads. Also fits
Wagner tubas. Weight = 5.6 pounds. Also available in King
Size for 6/4 tubas $170 |

K&M 14951 tuba playing stand, tall
 |
When I have to do a stand up gig
and play tuba, I hate to hold it. That Hirsbrunner is just too heavy. So I rest
it on this little pedestal while I play and I'm happy, happy. Weight
= 4.3 pounds |

K&M 14950 tuba playing stand, short
 |
Same as above but shorter for sitting down
gigs, for those who tire of resting a heavy horn on their lap.
