| This is a new lightweight bucket mute that's made in the style of the classic Finch mute from decades ago. It's made in the US, offers several positions for a more open or closed tone, and is very light (62g). It attaches to the bell without scratching, is even in all registers, and has no resistance. It's also been adopted and endorsed by many professional players in Los Angels and around the world. It's similar in design to the Eazy Bucket mute we've sold for several years (Eazy Bucket RIP), but is improved in acoustics and durability. | $74 | |

Best Brass Warm-up Mute
| From Best Brass and designer Shinji Hamanaga in Japan, inventor of the Yamaha Silent Brass System is this very tiny trumpet mute. It's extremely light and fits all the way inside your trumpet, so it stores in the bell in the case. While pricey, it's a work of art. it's nice for the frequent traveler who needs compact equipment. Pitch and response is excellent, and despite being very quiet, it's easy to hear yourself and not over blow. | $105 | |
|
Best Brass Piccolo Warm-up Mute
| This is the piccolo version of the above mute. Like its trumpet counterpart, it is extremely light and fits all the way inside the bell, so it stores in the horn in the case. While pricey, again it's nice for the frequent traveler who needs compact equipment. Pitch and response is excellent, and despite being very quiet, it's easy to hear yourself and not over blow. | $105 | |
|
Best Brass E-Brass Jr.
| This is a less expensive, molded-plastic version of the above mute, at a significant savings. Despite the "E" in the name, it's not electronic, but is all acoustic. Light, clear, easy to hear yourself, all make this a nice mute for the price. | $70 | |
|
Best Brass E-Mute
| The newest addition to the Best Brass line is a complete portable soundproof practice studio. Listen to your sound through earphones (included) so you won't over blow. Add resonance with a choice of 3 settings. A metronome is built in, and you can plug in a CD or Ipod for play-along practice. It's pricey, but not much heavier than the standard Best Brass Warm-up mute. This does protrude out of the horn a bit, so it won't store inside the bell in the case. This a well-made lightweight alternative to the Yamaha Silent Brass mute. | $219 | |
