Also in La Crescenta is this prototype Miraphone contrabass trombone with two rotary valves pitched in CC.  The second rotor is tunable to a whole step to lower the pitch to Bb, or it can be tuned to a double whole step for the scale patterns familiar to the bass trombonist.  The double wrapped hand slide has 6 positions.
