Cimbassi

This is a rare type of instrument, whose original design predates the tuba.  Consider it a valve contrabass trombone.  Usually pitched in F or CC, but also available in Eb or BBb.  Use it in Verdi operas or large recording orchestras

G&P

 G&P Wind Instrument in Milan has risen from the former crew of Kalison, which was purchased and closed.  This cimbasso has a large F tuba valve section, and is the most tuba-like of the three here.  .748" bore, 10.6" bell, includes gig bag.  In raw brass or silver plate only.  Custom built and shipped in 30-45 days with your deposit. estimate $9000
Haag

 Beautiful gold brass cimbasso with 5 Rene Hagman valves, tuning triggers, and remote water keys, handmade long leadpipe. This playable piece of artwork is custom built in Switzerland by Franz Monschau.  This is Steve's favorite F cimbasso.  It's a very nimble, easy to play instrument.  This uses the same bell as Franz' F contrabass trombone. It's truly an amazing accomplishment of brass craftsmanship. Every piece on this instrument was hand fabricated by Franz.  Lacquered. with case.  In stock.
