Karl Hinterbichler 11 Orchestral Etudes For bass trombone these are etudes based on a bunch of the excerpts that we all know and love. They tend to be longer than the excerpts and help one to practice the difficulties of the excerpt. As an example Show and Tell is based on William Tell and has 8th note runs in it to make you tongue more than the excerpt. Drill Ride is based on The Ride, and approaches the rhythmic part of the ride to assist in preparation for playing the rhythms correctly.
